SATURDAY 26TH AUGUST 2023  | RATHLIN ISLAND | 10 MILES 1:00PM - £30 | 5K 1:10PM - £20

'THE MOST UNIQUE AND CHALLENGING ROAD RACE IN NORTHERN IRELAND'

The Rathlin Run team are very proud to announce that the 21st annual RATHLIN RUN will take place on Saturday 26th August 2023 (1pm).

Highly respected charity BAC (Belfast Activity Centre), who assisted in the delivery of the event alongside us between 2014 to 2020 (having previously organised it) will continue to benefit from the race.  There will be the option to donate towards BAC's work in the community as part of the registration process, and a portion of any profit from the race will be donated to BAC by the Rathlin Run team.

The Rathlin Run is Northern Ireland's most unique, and arguably, most challenging road race. It was originally introduced by Raleigh International, before Belfast Activity Centre took the reins several years ago.

The '10 mile challenge', the original distance that caught the imagination of the local running community and cemented the event as an annual favourite, will once again be the feature race. The associated 5k run (starting at 1:10pm) will also return, and offer an alternative for those wanting to test themselves over (or enjoy) a flatter, shorter course.  Course descriptions and maps can be found HERE.

This year, entries will be limited to approximately 240 (inclusive of both events) in line with available ferry crossings, and considering the event has reached capacity previously, we would encourage everyone to enter early.

Please Remember:  It is absolutely ESSENTIAL that you book your ferry before entering the race.
